Laurus is Latin for "success". MyLaurus was designed by Arizona teachers to help high school students prepare for the math portion of the Arizona AIMS test. MyLaurus is a self-paced program accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is accessed via the internet, so there is nothing to wait for or download to your computer. You can access MyLaurus immediately after purchasing a subscription.

This online program has 5 unique features that help students learn the math content covered on the high school math AIMS test: video tutorials, printable notes, review questions with immediate feedback, quizzes (scores are kept track of in the program), and test-taking strategies. Test-taking strategies are provided in their own section, as well as interwoven into each of the individual lessons.

When students log in to their account, they may choose to watch the video tutorials as many times as desired and are able to fast forward or rewind through the videos as well. Video tutorials range anywhere from 5 to 15 minute lessons with sample problems worked out at the end of each video. Students can study from the notes section, or print them out and study the notes when not online. Students can practice their skills in the review problems, receiving immediate feedback on the corr ect answer. Students can take quizzes, receiving color-coded feedback on their quiz scores, according to scoring categories used on the AIMS test: "exceeds expectations", "meets expectations", "approaches expectations", and "falls far below". Students can choose to study specific sections that they would like to focus on, or choose to take practice tests that generate 50-question quizzes, pulling questions from all the material covered on the AIMS test. All lessons and questions were created by Arizona certified teachers who are skilled at teaching using student-friendly terms.
